Welcome to the Corley Casa

We finally made it home! We arrived yesterday around 2:30pm (just in time to watch the Astros get beat by the Cards). Avery did awesome in the car and loves her new friends Tex and Cheyenne. Tex was like "hey" sniff sniff and now just goes with the flow, as far as Cheyenne she is very interested in Avery and her little sounds. Cheyenne isn't quite sure what to think but knows a new friend has arrived. Katie is up and moving around but still in pain and he is working on getting her swelling down in her feet and legs. Avery is just a go with the flow gal and rarely makes a sound during the day and at night she gets a little cranky but really not bad at all (cross fingers and knock on wood). She eats about every 3 hours and last night ate at 10:45pm and woke at 1:15am and then slept until 7ish! She loves to sleep and when she's awake her very blue eyes like to discover the world around. I have mastered to fine art of diaper changing, which I never thought I would be able to do. Hope everyone has a great Easter as we will celebrate Jesus giving his life for us as well as giving us new life.

We remember how great it was to get our of the hospital and back home - helps you settle into a routine, plus you can walk around in undies during those early morning feeds/diaper changes. Enjoy your time together as a family, amazing how many subtle details you take notice of during those first few days. Glad to hear that Tex and Chey are playing nice. Happy Easter!
