Avery had her 2 week DR apt last Thursday and all is well...she weighed 8.8 lbs at birth, 8.0 lbs when we left the hospital, 8.3 lbs at her one week check-up, and at her two week, she weighed a whopping 8.13 lbs!!!! Yep, she is horking down the food at each feeding and its about 3 to 4 ounces at a time. On top of all the good eating is a lot of gas. Most nights have been uneventful and just Avery waking every 3 hours to eat, but 2 nights ago Avery was hysterically crying in "pain". We have not quite figured out her cries but those cries were painful ones. She would draw her knees up and nothing wold pacify her. She also had a few hours between poops, a runny nose, clogged tear duct. My child was falling apart. The good news is that Avery took the biggest dump ever in the morning and Ryan's mom saved the day with gas drops. Hooray! Speaking of parents, we have had a lot of family visiting Avery. My mom and step dad were in 2 weeks ago, Ryan's mom and step dad this past week, My dad and grandmother, as well as local family Ryan's dad and brother. Not including friends. WOW. We feel very loved and blessed. Thank you to all of you who have visited and brought meals. They were delicious!

Glad to see you had family around. The two of you will be GREAT parents to little Avery.
