The first 24.....

Day one is down and we're still truckin. Avery is doing a lot better as far as crying. She is now 8lbs 1oz but this is a normal thing we are told. Katie and Avery are continuing a good feeding schedule. Avery has a little more of a yellow tint but nothing to worry about. If all goes well, Katie and Avery will be released sometime tomorrow. Katie has already taken a shower and able to walk but very slowly. We will be giving her her first bath tonight from us and will send pictures of this momentous occasion. For all the future Dad's I can tell you, from first hand experience, that the diaper changes this first couple of hours of life are "no crap" pretty big.
